Study Site: Lake Simcoe Watershed, Ontario
Purpose: We examined soil properties and accumulation rates over the last ca. 100 years in four swamps and four marshes in southern Canada where these wetlands are common but under increasing anthropogenic pressure.
Abstract: Dataset containing soil dry bulk density, organic matter, organic carbon, nitrogen, radionuclide inventories (210Pb and 137Cs), and soil accumulation rate for eight freshwater minerotrophic wetlands from Lake Simcoe Watershed
