Purpose: This dataset contains dissolved organic carbon (DOC) concentrations and ancillary biogeochemical and environmental data, collected from previously published articles across the circumpolar permafrost north.
Abstract: The dataset was generated after performing a systematic review of publications pertaining to terrestrial DOC concentrations in the top 3 metres of the northern circumpolar permafrost region. It contains 2,276 DOC concentrations collected extracted from 111 peer-reviewed articles published between 2000 and 2022.
