Study Site: Dehcho and South Slave regions of the Northwest territories and Dene Tha' First Nations lands in Alberta
Purpose: Data was collected at the inflow and the outflow of beaver ponds to investigate water chemistry changes, including changes to mercury and methylmercury, dissolved organic carbon, metals, and ions.
Abstract: This project sampled 22 beaver ponds, up to four times in June 2022, August 2022, July 2023, and August 2023. Beaver ponds were located throughout the Dehcho and South Slave regions of the Northwest territories and Dene Tha' First Nations lands in Alberta.
