Study Site: Inuvik, Sahtu, Deh Cho and northern Alberta
Purpose: Support sites and data for a regional project measuring the effects of climate on peatlands, permafrost, site productivity and carbon cycling.
Abstract: The following data will be collected: - Site location, nomenclature, and plot terminology - Site description, vegetation cover and experimental - Physical maps, air photos and site photos. - Vegetation, peat and permafrost samples. - Local climate data will be collected using continuous and discontinuous monitoring equipment.
