Study Site: Restored Bois-des-Bel peatland in Québec
Purpose: 2 fields at the restored Bois-des-Bel peatland in Québec were compressed in January 2016 using a John Deere 6430 series tractor to increase water retention. This study compared the compressed moss hydrophysical properties to uncompressed and natural mosses to determine the effects.
